LIGURIA PIONEERING CIRCULAR ECONOMY INNOVATION
The FISH2FARM project crafted and presented by the Cooperativa Armatori Motopescherecci (the Motor Fishing Vessel Owners’ Cooperative) of Santa Margherita Ligure, was selected as one of the winners of the First Open Call arranged by PRIMED, the EU-backed project dedicated to the promotion of circular models within the bioeconomic field.

TRADITION AND INNOVATION
On the last week of June 2024, Liguria hosted a delegation of representatives from both Albanian and Kosovar institutions: the Don Bosko Center, the Albanian Network for Rural Development, the Network of Organisation of Rural Development of Kosova, and Shmat Abdyl Frasheri. FILSE organized a three-day long visit, within the framework of the CultiVETing project, to showcase the uniqueness of the region's agricultural industry as well as to foster cross-border collaboration.

THE FIGHT AGAINST THE PLASTIC WASTE IN THE ALPS
ASTER is a project co-financed by the program INTERREG SPAZIO ALPINO that aims to bring together both the textile and plastic ecosystems as well as promoting their transition towards a more sustainable economy through concrete action, including: innovation, sustainable design, the use of alternative materials and efficient systems for the management and recycling of waste.

THE “CCRI KNOWLEDGE HUB”
The initiative known as Circular Cities and Regions is growing and working to provide a learning space aimed at not only learning, but rather increasing the knowledge one already has, aiming to implement circular economy practices across Europe. The project CCRI Knowledge Hub partnering with FILSE, is financed by the Horizon Europe Program to achieve the aforementioned outcome.
